All recipients of this award plan to study a visual arts related field at the postsecondary level. Applicants submitted examples of artwork, a statement of art background, experience, and future aspirations to pursue visual arts, and a recommendation from their schools. Jalbert is studying Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Santos will attend Fitchburg State University to study architecture. Waite hopes to pursue animation and graphic design at Massachusetts College of Art. Withrow is concentrating on Visual Storytelling at Montserrat College of Art.
