Works by Roy Perkinson on View at Two Galleries

One of Roy Perkinson’s pastels, “River Bridge,” will be on view in April in the “Works on Paper” show at the Richard Boyd Art Gallery on Peaks Island, Maine. It depicts a bridge on the York River in Maine, and relates to another of his pastels from the same area. It also relates to a larger version (in oil) that is currently on view in a juried exhibition at the Fountain Street Gallery in the SoWa Arts District in Boston. Perkinson did a brief video that includes images of the two pastels and describes the evolution of the oil painting. The video is available on YouTube.
